Rotor Head for Gyrocoptor
Abelly
Our rotor head is professionally designed and precision-machined to the most rigorous quality standards, delivering uncompromising reliability in every detail. We adopt premium-grade double-row angular contact sealed bearings to ensure superior durability and consistent operational stability. Equipped with a ¾-inch gimbal offset and matched trim spring, the rotor assembly delivers outstanding dynamic stability, greatly optimizing flight performance and controllability.
The integrated hydraulic rotor brake system is directly mounted on the torque tube for compact and robust structural integration. Featuring a drum-brake working principle, the brake pad assembly pushes outward against the inner diameter of the planetary ring gear to achieve powerful, responsive braking. This innovative outward-force braking design outperforms traditional rotor brake structures that apply upward pressure from the bottom of the ring gear — a conventional flaw that easily causes excessive disc assembly deflection and structural fatigue.
Once the brake is disengaged, the brake pads retract slightly and completely clear all rotating components. This eliminates any risk of friction or mechanical interference during flight, ensuring absolute flight safety and stable operation in all flight conditions.
Custom plastic teeter-stop inserts are installed to eliminate metal-to-metal contact between the hub bar and rotor head. This sophisticated structural design effectively reduces component wear, suppresses vibration and impact, and significantly extends the service life of core parts.
From core transmission and dynamic stabilization to high-efficiency braking and structural protection, every component is crafted with exquisite workmanship and premium materials. It integrates excellent performance
